I noticed that too, there isn't a ton of difference between bold and not bold. May be I'll go back into edit and star the ones I've read.
Back before knitting I used to read alot! Ok, there's a reason that you're just not that interested in Ayn Rand: you're not a teenage jerk!! However, PUH-LEEZE give 'Crime and Punishment' a try. Maybe it's too dark...but it's so worth it. Also, 'The Lovely Bones' is a cruel book. Skip it.
I loved the Secret Life of Bees. I just got around to reading it, after taking it out of the library about 10 times and never getting around to it. Read it if you can-- it's wonderful, especially for a first novel (as it is for Sue Monk Kidd).
Not interested in Time Traveller's Wife? I really liked it - really different than most novels. We discussed it at our book club and most everyone loved it (or not - those 2 people didn't even finish it).
OK so I am adding "The Time Traveller's WIfe" and "Crime and Punishment" to my list of to reads. I had heard some very negative things about TTTW but I'd still give it a try.
There are so many books on that I list that I wanted to read, started reading, and not quite finished. I need a vacation so that I can catch up on reading things that are not textbooks. Ginger is so adorable!
